Paul Heng is the Founder/MD and an Executive Coach of NeXT Career Consulting Group, Asia and NeXT Corporate Coaching Services (www.nextcareer.net), the Asia Pacific partner of arbóra Global Career Partners (www.arboraglobal.com), a global organization of over 20 professional coaching and career management firms. He is currently the Chairman of Asia Pacific, Arbora, and also sits on its global board.
Paul is certified as a career coach (CMF) by the Institute of Career Certification International (ICC, Intl). He has also been awarded the designation of Master Coach (MC) and Certified Solution Focused Coach (CSFC) by the Behavioral Coaching Institute (Australia) and Canadian Council of Professional Certification, Canada respectively.
Paul’s forte is in coaching C-suite and top business and functional leaders across many industries. His coachees include global and regional leaders who are responsible for businesses worth up to Euro10 Billion per annum.
Paul is on the retained coaching panel of a number of global organizations, and has also coached mid-to-senior level, high-potential leaders. His views on executive coaching, career management and human resource topics are often sought after by the media. His articles on those topics are also regularly published in the media. He has been invited to appear on television as well as radio talk shows to share his experience in his fields of expertise. He is fluent in both spoken English and Mandarin, and speaks basic Malay.
A firm believer in ‘giving back’, Paul is an active Rotarian, and a Past-President of the Rotary Club of Bugis Junction in Singapore, and has also held pro-bono leadership roles with the “Make-A-Wish Foundation (Singapore), including that of Board Chair. He is also a supporter of the Care Corner Orphanage in Chiangmai, and a pro-bono coach with the Centre for Non-Profit Leadership in Singapore.
Paul is married, and has two adult-aged children.
Helen Lim - Senior Consultant
|Helen joined the Singapore Public Sector in 1971 after graduating from Monash University, Australia with Bachelor of Economics and Statistics. Her postings at Public Service Commission, Ministry of Health and Civil Service Institute gave Helen a broad experience in national scholarship administration, personnel management and training civil service-wide.
From 1985 onwards, Helen moved on to the private sector, and gained further HR expertise in MNCs and large conglomerates, namely Xerox Singapore / Malaysia. Haw Par Corporation, Ethyl Corporation and Uniroyal Chemical Corporation.
In the last 2 USA-based MNCs, Helen headed the HR function for the whole Asia Pacific region.
Her main focus was on recruiting talent for each location and handling Mergers and Acquisition people-related issues.
As Asia Pacific HR Director, Helen’s role as business partner to all regional business heads, gave her the opportunity to develop her coaching skills, leadership development initiatives and resilience programs for all employees during major restructuring periods.
In March 2006, Helen was invited by Singhealth to pioneer the Silver Connection Movement. In the 3 years with Singhealth as Program Consultant, she was instrumental in creating a successful movement, engaging mature employees of Singhealth through a customized ESS Personal Effectiveness to stay employed embracing the ethos of renew, refresh, rewire, not retire.
She further developed meaningful initiatives to invite retirees back to the healthcare workforce, on flexible part time basis. For these accomplishments, Singhealth won the 2007 HRM award for Innovative Ideas to enhance employability of older workers, and more recently the first International American Retired Persons (AARP) award from USA in 2008.
Helen Lim has obtained the status of a Certified Master Coach and gained membership to the International Coaching Council (ICC).
Leena Tan - Consultant
Leena is a Senior Career Consultant/Executive Coach with NeXT Career Consulting Group, Asia and NeXT Corporate Coaching Services (www.nextcareer.net), the Asia Pacific partner of arbóra Global Career Partners (www.arboraglobal.com), a global organization of over 20 professional coaching and career management firms.
She is a certified Solutions Focused Coach and accredited to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) tool.
Prior to this, Leena held regional corporate leadership roles in industries as diversified as Healthcare, Print Solutions, Aerospace & Manufacturing. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Leena is married, and has one young child. She participates regularly in community-based projects.
